Step 3: Finalize your decision Once you've identified your requirements and vendors who can meet them, you may find it helpful to use a rating system to make your final decision. Using your requirements checklist, add a column for each vendor. Then rate each vendor on their ability to meet each requirement, using a simple point-based approach as follows: 0 = does not meet requirement 1 = limited support for requirement 2 = somewhat supports requirement 3 = meets or exceeds requirement We've provided the following form for you to use, including blank rows at the bottom if you have additional requirements to add. Step 2: Identify a short list of vendors to consider While there are AR options for a range of applications, these solutions will likely fall short in meeting your needs. You'll want to narrow your focus to an AR solution that's purpose-built for construction applications to experience all of the benefits AR delivers. When identifying a short list of vendors, consider the following: • Is the vendor a recognized leader in construction solutions? • Do they have demonstrated expertise in working with businesses like yours? • Do they have case studies demonstrating product applications? • Do they have a community of satisfied customers? • Do they provide thorough product details and specifications to help you make an informed decision? • Do they provide transparent pricing and simple purchase options? • Do they offer resources to help you quickly get started using the product (user guides, video tutorials, FAQs)?
