Who is Prévost?
Prévost is a family business located in Archiac, Charente-Maritime. Created in 1993, it specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of metal structures. It works on new builds, renovation or reinforcement of existing structures.
Prévost works on public and private projects, either directly or as a subcontractor. For example, supermarkets, photovoltaic installations, agriculture and cladding.

Why did Prévost choose Trimble?
Prévost decided to invest in order to grow the business and increase its revenue.
The strategy was to find a way to secure and guarantee the correct transcription of plans and projects in the field in order to work on larger buildings. For example, the port of La Cotinière on the island of Oléron, as a subcontractor of VINCI. The project involved a metal building of 10,340m²; the building as a whole is 20,000m² on a 40,000m² platform. But also to be able to facilitate and make the measurements more reliable.
Prévost was looking for an easy-to-use robotic station that would be compatible with their modeling software, TEKLA, to facilitate work between the site and the office.
