Trimble. Redefine productivity and resourcing on the shop floor Continuously ensure compliance with changing regulations Ensure regulatory compliance by enabling remote equipment monitoring and factory audits If you're in manufacturing, chances are you face fairly strict regulatory requirements that must be met to maintain compliance. As one of the most highly regulated industries, manufacturers often need to schedule frequent audits to ensure operations and products are up to par. This can get tedious when you're conducting audits in person. Traditional audits typically require travel and onsite visits, which is a time-consuming and expensive process. But the alternative of facilitating an audit remotely has its downsides too − auditors may opt to use technology platforms for virtual collaboration when reviewing documentation and records remotely. But this method is not always a suitable option for audits that require in-depth physical inspection or observation. Manufacturers need a more reliable, consistent, cost-effective, and safe way to document evidence in collaboration with remote auditors. Save time and money by elevating the thoroughness of remote audits to that of in-person inspections Auditors no longer need to be on site to conduct inspections when wearing the Trimble XR10 and deploying MR solutions like Dynamics 365 Guides. Together, the hardware and software components make it easy for manufacturing companies to carry out routine inspections with remote experts, including: • Virtual checklists − enabling onsite workers to walk a remote auditor through a factory audit, allowing the auditor to observe equipment and processes as though they were looking through the eyes of the employee. • Part inspection − giving manufacturing companies insights into specific attributes of their equipment, testing quality and identifying opportunities for improvement or rework. • Room scanning − allowing an onsite worker to walk around a room and scan for engineering tasks, machine placement, etc., quickly accessing virtual KPIs on machine performance. • Remote monitoring − improving a worker's visibility into the performance of plant machines and/or devices. This helps them minimize disruption with predictive maintenance.
